Program Fee Inclusions
The per person program fee covers hotel accommodations, most meals, daily cultural and culinary activities, cooking classes, tips and gratuities for meals and scheduled activities, transportation, and expert guides.
What is Not Included in the Program Fee?
The program fee does not include air travel, optional excursions, extensions, meals and drinks not listed in the itinerary, expenses during free time, or incidental hotel charges.
Land Package
The program begins when you arrive at the first hotel or designated meeting spot. Travelers are responsible for arranging their own round-trip travel and must join the program at the first hotel or meeting point. Vita Casalinga, hosts, and chefs are not responsible for participants outside of the main group.
Changes to Itinerary and Program
Vita Casalinga reserves the right to modify the itinerary, trip direction, hotels, optional excursions, and activities. We may cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment, unforeseen operational challenges, weather, availability issues, or other reasons. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
Luggage
Please check with your airline for their specific baggage policies. We recommend packing light and avoiding oversized luggage, as you will be responsible for handling it on buses, stairs, etc. Many airlines enforce a one-carry-on bag policy. Vita Casalinga is not responsible for luggage delays, loss, or damage, and we advise packing a carry-on with a change of clothes and essential items in case of lost luggage.
Cancellations
Your spot is reserved once the 25% deposit is received. Each trip is officially confirmed once the minimum group size is reached. We recommend waiting until you receive confirmation before purchasing airfare.
Once the trip is confirmed, half of the remaining balance will be due. The final balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
You may cancel within 48 hours of booking for a full refund of your deposit. After 48 hours, all payments are nonrefundable. If you need to cancel, we are happy to offer a nontransferable credit toward a future Vita Casalinga trip as follows:
- More than 120 days before departure: 100% credit for payments made
- 90–120 days before departure: 50% credit for payments made
- Less than 90 days before departure: No credit
Influencer Participation
We know how exciting it is to travel with a favorite influencer, and rest assured that each tour is thoughtfully created in collaboration with them and reflects their personal style and interests. Of course, life can be unpredictable, and if the featured influencer is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, the tour will still take place as planned. All experiences, locations, and activities remain the same, and the spirit of the trip stays true to what was envisioned together. The talent is very much looking forward to joining, and only extreme, unexpected situations would prevent their participation. Therefore, our normal cancellation policy applies even in the event that the influencer must cancel.
Waiver
Participants waive and release Vita Casalinga, hosts, chefs, affiliates, agents, and employees from any claims resulting from injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or expense due to unforeseen events, such as weather, war, strikes, sickness, government regulations, or third-party services. Vita Casalinga may capture photos and videos during the tour that may be shared on social media or in communications.
Medical Insurance
Travelers must provide proof of health insurance before the tour begins in order to participate. If your current insurance doesn’t cover you while abroad, affordable medical coverage is available through TravelEx Insurance as part of their travel insurance plans.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance which is not provided by Vita Casalinga. It is important to have coverage for things like personal accidents, medical treatment, repatriation, trip cancellations, theft, and lost property. You can explore affordable options through TravelEx Insurance.
We suggest giving them a call to choose a plan that fits your needs. “Cancel For Any Reason” upgrades are available, which provides flexibility if you need to cancel your trip for any reason. Please note, at this time TravelEx requires you to purchase your policy within 15 days of paying your deposit for the widest range of options and upgrades. This is subject to change and we suggest calling them as soon as possible after purchase.
